Breadcrumb

Keyboard

Press Tab to reach earlier links and Enter to follow one. Keep the current item and separators out of the tab order.

Semantics

Name the navigation with aria-label. Do not link the current item.

Checklist

• Give Breadcrumb an accessible name that describes the navigation path.
• Set current on the current page and link earlier items to their destinations.
• Keep separators out of navigation announcements and check that the keyboard order matches the path.

For contrast, zoom and screen reader checks, see the common accessibility checklist.
